Dr. Susie Son is a graduate from the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry, class of 2021. Prior to earning her dental degree, she completed her BSc and MSc in Biochemistry and Biomedical Sciences at McMaster University. She enjoys working with patients of all ages, from seniors to children, and all disciplines in dentistry including cosmetic dentistry, endodontics and restorative dentistry. Dr. Son is also licenced to provide patients with light sedation including nitrous oxide and single agent sedation techniques to help alleviate anxiety during dental visits.
Just as much as she is enthusiastic about learning and maturing in her profession, she is eager to share her time and skills with those around her. Dr. Son hopes to contribute her time and skills to the community whether it be through volunteering in local oral hygiene clinics, teaching at the UofT dental faculty as an instructor, or travelling abroad to provide mobile dentistry to remote populations.
Beyond the realm of dentistry, Dr. Son is an avid enthusiast of the arts working on her digital illustrations whenever she gets the chance. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends and is on a constant look-out to try new things! Dr. Son looks forward to meeting you at your next visit!
